Invitation to R&S fundamentals of Spectrum Analyzers and Vector Network Analyzers seminar in Linköping, Jönköping and Halmstad
Rohde & Schwarz is offering a free half – day fundamentals seminar on the practical use and understanding of spectrum analyzers and vector network analyzers within the RF and Microwave industry.
The seminar is designed for engineers or graduates that are new to the field of RF and Microwave, or those already experienced in the field that require a brush up to improve understanding and efficiency in their day to day work.
As well as covering the fundamental aspects, the seminar will also introduce some of the capabilities within modern signal and spectrum analyzer and vector network analyzer platforms.
Topics to be covered include but not limited to:
- Fundamentals, classic principles and key performance
- Basic building blocks, user settings and applications
- Modern analyzers

ECH blev lite av en kändis efter medverkan i tv-programmet På Spåret.

This year a lot of new standards is harmonized, so there is much knowledge to learn.

Today we had a workshop regarding future radar systems specifically focus on co-existents’ of many radar and communication systems within the same spectrum range. The workshop was led by Hans Hellsten (SAAB, and adj. prof. Halmstad University). Except technical challenges the financing of a national radar system research program was initiated. My personal belief is that this technology area is of great importance in the future, especially considering radar in future cars (especially considering autonomous cars) and as an important sensor in many future Internet of Things applications. I really believe that it is utterly important that some of the research funding agencies actually take on this responsibility and fund research activities in this area to preserve existent knowledge and increase the research in the area of radar systems to strengthen Swedish industrial competiveness in a wide range of application areas.
