Susanne har tilldelats Börje Langeforspriset för bästa avhandling inom informatik 2018. Priset delas ut av Svenska informationssystemakademin, SISA, för att uppmuntra och visa på föredömliga forskningsinsatser inom informatik. Motiveringen till priset lyder:
”The committee finds Susanne Lindbergs dissertation timely and thought-provoking. It ties well into the “Scandinavian” research tradition of participatory design and provides deep insights into the interplay of ethics and user involvement in “sensitive design situations”. Ethics is one of the most important and challenging issues for the development of information systems in healthcare, and for Informatics as a discipline.”
